maybe for the Pattycakes it's about winning the division.

the Jets are well past that low threshhold of successJust last year, for instance while the Pattycakes took their precious "division title" and crashed it into flames at home against the number 6 seed in the tournament getting badly humiliated and watching Tommi turn into a pick machine without his welkie...

the Jets beat the number 3 seed and then beat the number 2 seed (two other teams with meaningless "division champion" status and were 30 minutes away from beating the number one seed and going to the superbowl when their running game got injured.

So, Pattycake trolls, bask in the glow of your equivalent of the Presidents Cup in hockey. The Jets have higher goals and will be hoisting the Lombardi Trophy AT LEAST THREE times before the 2020 season is over. As for the Pattycakes

many more top 5 draft picks to look forward to

People with nothing better to do than hang where they don't belong, sad, but think of it as, sort of, giving to a charity.

Yep, would love to have a RB like Rice on the Pats roster. Was hoping they were going to draft him.

It has been proven that the Pats are not physical enough at the point of attack to stop the elite teams.

The Jets will again be one of the most physical teams in the league. With the two cover corners, that will leave most offenses with only 3 players in which to move the chains with.

The Pats have a lot of holes to fill on both sides of the ball. This off season is not over yet, not by far, but in the eyes of many, including mine, the Jets have been active. That activity has improved them over last season.

The Jets are a well coached team and now Rex will have more of his (type) players in there. The Jets are now a known entity. They have a real identity and from the looks of things, they have improved upon that identity quite a bit.

Still a long way to go in the offseason

that was a long time ago -- since then your pattycakes were brutalized in the first round by the Ravens and the Jets won two postseason games and played for the conference championship.

figures a guy like you in your mid 80's would bring up ancient history though

The Patriots have a lot of picks. They can turn some of those picks into trades for proven players on DD.

Like I said, still a long way to go and it is clearly upon the Pats to make some good moves to become a more competitive team next season, just to get out of the AFCE

Bingo! One ESPN analyst's opinion in the offseason does not a winner make. I wanna see us win the DIVISION first and then I'll be happy.

True, but winning the division is every teams first priority as it guarantees a spot in the playoffs. Duplicate last season's Jets record of 9-7 and chances are vey good you don't get gifted-in two years in a row.
