What players should we root to get picked before the Jets in Round 1?
Here's my quick list:
Charles Brown Bruce Cambell Tim Tebow Everson Griffen Last edited by Bronxville Jets Fan; 04-16-2010 at 09:05 AM. |

There could be a real run on o-lineman in my mind. A lot of teams need either a LT of help anywhere along the line.
OL - Campbell, Brown LB - Weatherspoon TE - Gresham, Grankowski QB - Tebow, McCoy |

Ryan Mathews is a key name to get picked... if he goes early than 29 that's another player who drops

Now, there's a couple of Defensive players I would take over him like, Graham, Kindle, & Cody, but I wouldn't have a problem with it. |

I'd like to see
Tebow D. Thomas G. Tate All the 0-linemen (incl campbell & Brown, Iupati, Pouncey) Odrick Cody I want us to be looking at Graham, Bryant, Mays or Hughes. |

Haha. Yeah, I caught that just as I hit the post button. Apparently the edit button option doesn't work on post headings.

Bruce Cambell is another key name, in my view. Sounds like some scouts think the guy plays only like a second or third round pick, but because of his measurables he's being looked at higher.

Don't see any chance of Tebow going that high.
Of the legit options: Davis Pouncey Campbell Brown Odrick Cody Griffen Gresham Mays Bryant Clausen D. Thomas Tate Matthews (who I think is a lock to SD if Houston passes on him). That's 14 players. If you assume Bradford, Suh, McCoy, Okung, Berry, T. Williams, Bulaga, Morgan, Pierre-Paul, Haden, Iupati, McClain and Spiller (that's 13 players) are locks to go before us as well, that would be 27 players, with the following still on the board: Dan Williams Sergio Kindle Brandon Graham Earl Thomas Kyle Wilson I'll take it. |
