Nice hitting Bay!
Get as much runs as you can, before the rain delay comes. |

hopefully the delay isnt long so Neise can go back out.
Nice hitting off Verlander, at least the fans got great news about Beltran. |

Sborz making his MLB debut, hit the first 2 batters.
Now 8-0 Mets after Pagan's hit. Pagan making a statement. |

Well, this has been some kind of offensive showing. Of course the pitcher helped a good deal.

Boesch just drilled a HR, probably 420 feet away.
Hopefully Niese just goes 5 and the bullpen does the rest. |

Great showing by the Mets offense, things are really clicking right now.
Its impressive that they did the initial damage against Verlander. Doesn't hurt that the Braves are getting blown out right now. |

You can't take Pagan out of this lineup. The 1-2 punch at the top with Reyes and Pagan is too nice. They really compliment each other. Frenchy hits the bench and will spell Beltran when he needs a day off.
Can Frenchy play any 1st base? He could spell Ike once in a while instead of Tatis. |

just back from Citi Field...Verlander can really sling it (he topped out at 98)..but was wild & the Mets made him pay. Great crowd & I believe this is their biggest offensive output of the year.

He is now.
He apparently loves Gary Cohen, just finished telling him that he is the best play by play guy in the biz and combined with Keith and Ron they have the best booth in baseball. I happen to agree. ![]() Anyway, it was a quick inning, he just stared in the 3rd, so he hasn't got to say too much yet. |
