Vegas hops on Jets bandwagon »

By Manish Mehta

Before I ponder the merits of one or two coats of paint in my new kitchen and living room, I had to drop by the Stream to relay this interesting news: Las Vegas is giddy about the Jets' chances of making it to Super Bowl XLV.

Bodog has placed 10-1 odds on Rex Ryan & Co. to make the big game in February. Only the Saints and Colts, who are both 9-1 favorites to win it all, have better odds than the Jets. (The Patriots, Cowboys and Vikings are 12-1 odds to win it all).

The Jets and Chargers are 11-2 favorites to win the AFC.

Ryan's team is the favorite to win the AFC East.

Here's how the rest of the division looks:

Patriots: 6-1 to win AFC; 12-1 to win SB
Dolphins: 16-1 to win AFC; 30-1 to win SB
Bills: 50-1 to win AFC; 100-1 to win SB (In case you were wondering, the Bills, Rams and Buccaneers are the biggest long shots to hoist the Lombardi Trophy).

Back to painting... I'll return next week.
You should have stuck to painting on this one new reporter guy and I agree that the NY Jets will once again be The Fat Bridesmaids of the NFL in season 2010.

lol at all you thinking this matters and the Jets are cursed. SOJF are taking over the world :zzz:. The major point here is that the people who have the most to lose, thus invest the most research and expertise are on the Jets side. Who cares what an NFL reporter's with their own agenda's say.....these people are putting their livelihoods on the line, I'll go with them since they are still in business and thriving after 40 or so years.:rolleyes:

Yes nothing says "I support the New-New York Jets" better than gambling & betting against the odds of them winning in Las Vegas. :D

Did you just actually read the article instead of looking at the title and the poster who started the thread and providing a one-line cheeky comment!?
