LESNAR vs Carwin

You probably know the story now. Brock Lesnar, former pro wrestler, and arguably the most hated man in MMA, hasn't fought since UFC 100 last July due to his battle with diverculitis.

Carwin beat Frank Mir in February to win the interim heavyweight title, setting up this Sunday's unification match.

Carwin is 12-0 with only one of his fights going past 2:00 . If he is able to keep Brock on his feet, there is no doubt he will win.

However, on the opposite side of the octagon is a monster. Lesnar is known for his wrestling background, and should be able to take down Carwin and hit him with the patented Lesnar ground n pound. The biggest question with Brock is if he will have any ocatgon rust.

All that being said, I am picking Lesnar to retain his belt with a 2nd round TKO.

What does everyone else think?

I'm taking Carwin. It's been a while since Lesnar has been in a fight; Rust could become a big factor during the fight.

Keep in mind; Lesnar isn't the only one with wrestling ability, Carwin also comes into the fight with a solid wrestling background.

I think Lesner's had too long of a layoff to come back and not have a decent amount of ring rust. Carwin will take this fight IMO.

Can't believe that fight wasn't stopped. Glad it wasn't though.

Will be a good rematch after Brock detroys Cain and Carwin pummels Santos.

I would slow down a bit with that prediction, Velasquez is a pretty tough dude. I would not be surprised to see Cain pull out a win.

This fight exceeded everyone's high expectations.

It also accomplished the turn of Brock into a fan favorite.

This was easily the best MMA show of the year

Ya know i'm not a huge ufc guy but I don't deny the popularity. The way ESPN covers it is a friggin joke. Why cause they don't televise it.They shove all this other crap down our throat but can't even get any good coverage on that network without them making fun of it.

Glad to see Brock win I remember him from his wwe days

And once again you keep your record alive of NEVER making a correct prediction in your entire life.

Way to go sport.

LOL.

Finally a UFC card worth ordering. Plus the free fights on Spike prior to the PPV starting.
