Johan being Johan

Last 10 starts:

70.2 innings pitched with a 2.55 earned run average. Unfortunately he's only 4-3 during that time, dude gets no run support.

Discuss... thought this would be a better spot to talk about Santana's season, now that the other thread is too far gone. My apologies.

maybe someone will shut me up for saying this down the road....but ive said in a few other threads...wake me up when Johan has a bad season. the guy is beyond consistent even if he is not a top 5 starter in the majors any more (he still might be).

Unfortunately the writers look at wins too much, but based on production alone, he should get it with 2-3 more great year. Though It should be as a Twin.

Johan is a good pitcher still, but he is obviously past his prime. 2004-2006 was when he was at his best. 2007 he was still really good but he dropped a bit from those other years and was giving up the long ball more. He is lucky that he pitches at a pitchers park though, help save him some of the HRs he was giving up.

Johan being Johan? What the hell are you talking about? How about... The Mets being the Mets?

Not every pitcher can pitch for the... "Yankees"

Please explain why you feel the need to put "Yankees" within quotation marks. It makes no sense at all.
