"New" Soundgarden Song- Black Rain
Any Soundgarden fans here?
http://www.somekindofawesome.com/journal/2010/8/9/listen-soundgarden-black-rain.html Just scroll down to play it. This song wasn't released when Badmotorfinger came out, they're just releasing it now. You can tell it's old just by the way Cornell sings it. Absolutely tears it up. |

Agreed, they were/are my favorite of all the 90s bands. I think they are touring this summer. |

After a few listenings I understand why it was never included on an album. It's fine. Good? No.

I'll give it a listen when I get home from work. Soundgarden has always been one of my favorites of the 90's bands. Maybe even my favorite.

I thought it was a good song. I can understand your feelings though, it doesn't really grab you like a lot of their older songs. It took me a couple listens to really start to get into it. I did think that Cornell's voice sounded great though. Maybe not as good as this, which was some of the greatest vocal work ever done, but still, Black Rain is much better than most of what's out there. |
