They did look pretty good, knee is just about fully recovered in a relative sense. D must give him NO time.

I swear Revis better be here...with them going 5 wide like I saw and having Coleman, Lowery, and Cole out there just does not sit well.

Every year there's another reason why I'm supposed to be scared of the immortal Brady and the New England Patriots. We're on their level now. **** them. if they beat us then they beat us. I'm sick of them being the end all be all on the NFL

The Pats are going to be good. They'll be good as long as Brady and Belichick are there.
We just need to be better. |

Should have been concerned about them the whole time. They are the Patriots. They have a HOF quarterback. They win 10 or more every year.

Preseason means zero.[/QUOTE] He was referring to the way they played, not the fact they won. This is why the Jets came out of Monday's game looking better than the Gints. The Pats looked strong, most expected that, but I still feel the Jets matchup well vs them. Slam Greene into them time and time again. D can force Brady to make enough mistakes to at least chop the season series. |

Brady is going to be Scary this season... most players take a full 2 years to recover from knee injuries like that.... anybody that thinks were just going to roll the pats this season is just being a homer... and i hate the pats more than any other franchise in all sports

+1 All of the "the Pats are done" threads were getting on my nerves. It's the height of stupidity to think that they'll win anything less than 10 games this year. The 2 most important people on a football team are the QB and the head coach. They're easily in the top 5 for both categories. We're right there with them, but it is homerism to believe that we are clearly the superior team. I think we'll split again this year, with the team that wins the division being the team that remains healthy and wins all of the games that they "should." |

Inside LB looks great. Outside LB is a question mark, may see more 4-3. DB's including S and CB look like maybe something special. TE position is the best Belichick has ever had to work with. OLine looks like it will holdup fine without Mankins. DLine is a question mark. QB is scary.WR's top 3 in the NFL. RB will finish top ten in the league. Special teams will finish top ten.
Bring it on AFCE. |

Not for nothing, you guys are saying it's only preseason and everything, but we're analyzing LT for "looking great" saying that he had a burst of speed while playing. We're saying that Sanchez "looked great" after his 1st INT.
I don't see how we can analyze the Jets and say the defense looked tremendous. Oh but it's the Jets, so preseason means everything for us but to everyone else, it's only preseason. Pats still are the team to beat. Until we do that, they're still the division leader. |
