This does not make a lot of sense but I hope it is true. Why the three day wait. Does it really take three days to iron out details??? Jets play on Friday. He could use some reps, especially since the starters barely play in the final preseason game.

Something tells me that his account is still hacked....

true, hope he doesn't play friday even if he's signed tomorrow...give wilson some more experience at CB. Revis' first action will probably be monday night v. baltimore.

So hear is what's going to happen.

Multiple news outlets (ESPN, NFL.com, Si.com etc.) will report that the Dallas Morning news is reporting that an agreement has been reached.

They will then seek comment from both sides who will either refuse to confirm or absolutely deny the story.

Once the story is denied, people on this board will freak out, wanting to riot in
Dallas and sacrafice TC's first born.

Then, after everyone freaks out and denies.....Revis will sign!!!

Thing is they need to sound authoratitive and 'in the loop' so they are bound to publicly make it look like they know one way or the other.The reality is they and Schefter are inwardly in turmoil that they've potentially missed the scoop,they'll be scrabbling around now desperately trying to find out what's going on.If the guy is wrong he has zero credibilty.As to why a guy in Dallas would know it could be for any number of reasons,likely that he has direct contact with Feinsod,Schwartz or possibly Gilbert.
