The guy is great. Who denied that around here? He is also greedy. There's no denying that either. |

He didn't give up a single catch today. -0- receptions, -0- yards.

No question he's the best player on the field.
He should have kept holding out. Imagine what this game might have looked like if Revis didn't play. Cromartie and Wilson? Jesus. |

Revis could of held out at HALFTIME, got his contract doubled in money and it still would of been justified!

He guarded the 59 year old Mason for much of the game.

Plenty of people around here said "let him sit, we don't need him. We have Cro and Wilson" Well they pretty much sucked tonight. If not for Revis tonight, this game is a blowout. |

+1 The problem tonight was that Rex ended up putting Wilson on an island and the guy had no map. Maybe it was forced on him with how we run blitzes and matchups the Ravens presented but man, Wilson got schooled. Matching up against Boldin multiple times on MNF is not a fun way to play your first NFL game. |

I understand putting Revis out on an Island - that's why he's getting paid the big bucks - but it would have been nice to get Kyle Wilson a bit of help from time to time. If we wanted to see someone get beat like that, we could have put in Lowery (who had a monster block, btw). All and all, despite the penalties and some big receptions, you can't really blame the defense for anything yesterday. Sure there are areas to improve on, but considering the defense was on the field for so long, they played very well. There's a lot of shoulda, woulda, coulda from last night - but if that ticky tacky "running into the kicker" wasn't called, who knows what might have happened. |
