Looking ahead
Games over with, time to focus on the Pats. I honestly believe we are gonna beat the Pats this week. Go ahead and kill me if you want to for saying it, but the Pats are not the Ravens. I think you will see a much improved more effecient offense from the Jets, and a Pats offense that will struggle to move the ball. I'm hoping for the return of the ground n pound, mixed with some playaction and taking some shots downfield when the safeties come up for run support. The Pats are simply not the Ravens up front. We will maul these guys all day long with our line. The Pats will not be able to run the ball, so look for lots of typical screens and gimmick plays to move the chains for them. They will try to keep Brady from dropping back too much against our punishing fronts. Specials will be important in this game and as good as we looked on mnf, we will have to double our efforts. Tate looks to be an explosive return man, scary fast actually, but I believe we'll be okay. My prediction Jets 20- 17

I honestly have no idea what to expect. It could be a blowout, it could be a close game, and either team could be on the winning or losing end.
Anyone know the line, btw? |

Defensively we made them look bad last year so there is no reason to think that will change. Wilson and Cromartie are still better than Lito and company. Brady won't be as comfortable (or as lucky) as Flacco with how he was just tossing the ball up for grabs. Especially to a small guy like Welker.
Jets will have to create something to take care of Welker and since they did it last year, there is no reason to think they won't do it this year. And Revis will handle Moss as usual. The way to beat the Pats in my mind is to run at them. Outside of Vince, their run D is suspect. Gerard Warren is every bit a journeyman and it's his first year in that stupid system. Mike Wright is a nice player, but that's as far as it goes. Mayo can run sideline to sideline but he's not good being run straight at, much like every other linebacker. Just run and run and run. |

First, tough loss yesterday and I hope Big Jenks is okay. Beli and Brady will make Rexy pay for blitzing every third and long. Jets have no answer for Welker, Edelman, Tate and the new TEs. Brady will pick on Cro and Wilson all day long. Jets have none of the tools to score 20 points on the Pats. Sorry. |

I think a Jets win over Balt. would've have been better for the Pats*
Now the Jets are like a wounded animal. The only question is, what kind of animal? Lion or hamster? :( |

I do like Tate and the TE's however. The Jets will have to deal with them. But that is true, there is no reason to think that the Jets can get to 20 points, which is what will be needed to win. |

Jets will score 20 in the first quarter against, arguably the worst "defense" in the entire NFL.
1-1 after Sunday 3-1 after week FOUR have a great week |

Zero confidence in this game after last night's pathetic performance by the Offense. The Defense is good, but Tom Brady is a much better Quarterback than Joe Flacco, and the Ravens don't have a Wes Welker to destroy the Jets underneath. Better hope that Darrelle Revis does what he DIDN'T do last night and follows Moss around the field, because if Moss is lined up on Cromartie that will be an easy hook up for Brady, and will most likely lead to 6.
24-14, Patriots. |

This is a crock o sh!t!!!
What ever we say or feel means nothing to this team. We can post our ideas, thoughts, rants or what ever. We will know what we are after we play the Pats. The Ravens and the Pats are 2 of the top 6 playoff contenders that we need to do well against them!! That's what matters. Lets see if the JETS NUTS HAVE DROPPED!!! |

That game was a blindspot for me. Just looked back at the stats and was completely wrong on Welker. For whatever reason I had it in my mind that they had done a good job on him. Oh well, this is the reason they draft Wilson and get Cromartie. |

I was more worried about the Ravens than any team we'll face this year outside of Indy in the playoffs... If they make it |
