Wow, Devils with a phenomenal performance tonight, currently dominating the Capitals 5-0 with only a few minutes left to play. Hopefully, this is the type of win that this team needed to get things on track a bit.

I'm getting dangerously close to losing all hope with this season.

How much longer guys? Seriously. I've never known Lou to have very much patience.

We've now dropped 8 of 9...

He won't finish the season if the defense continues to play this way.

I can't see it going much longer. Larry Robinson was fired with some 30 games left in the season and the team was over .500 with 95 points. Ironically, it could be Robinson who takes over to finish the season.

Yea, this season has been so atrocious that it's very realistic to think he gets canned sometime during the season. I really didn't expect to see him and the team fall flat on their faces like this.

Maybe Vanderbeek isn't letting Lou fire him so fast. It's a lost year anyway, just stick out with him.

LOL. Well, I don't think it took a clairvoyant to see that one coming.

This season almost reminds me of the one the Flyers had 3 or 4 years ago. They were just awful, and it was out of nowhere based on their usual success. They got the second pick in the draft which they used on VanRiemsdyk and were back to their usual ways the following season. If the Devils are going to miss the playoffs they might as well get a super rookie in the draft, clear cap space for Parise via trades and bounce back next year. Of course as a ticket holder every game I go to is depressing, but I'll manage

This news is a few days old, but Langenbrunner traded. I'm sure he won't be the only one either.

I was at the American Airlines Center Friday night for the Stars/Rangers game. Langenbrunner was in the stands and they showed him on the big screen and announced "welcome back Jamie." He got about a one minute standing ovation.

Yea, guy is a tough player and was one of my favorite players in his time with the Devils. Glad he got a nice ovation in the return to Dallas. I wish Lou would have waited until the deadline got closer and maybe got a bit more value in return.

What was the return? Thought I read a conditional 3rd which can become a 2nd. Supposedly the Flyers offered an unconditional 2nd.
