One thing that needs to be brought up more is
Is different from coaching staffs in the past is the Jets has deveolopes a lot of players in the last few two years that other coaching staffs wouldn't even try to develop. IE Brad Smith, Sione Pouha, Mike Devito, Matt Slauson,Eric Smith,and Drew Coleman. Winning teams do this all the time. It's about time we do it as well.

You have to actually know HOW to coach rather than just have the title of "coach" to be able to develop talent. Herm never played young guys because he had no idea how to coach up young guys and I don't remember that defensive "guru" mangini coaching up or developing any talent.
Rex is a Coach that actually knows HOW to coach. |
