I'm with you on this. I think far too much of that is allowed on JI, but it's the nature of the beast.

That's why I prefaced the question with "as a fan". I'm pretty sure we all realize in the grand scheme of things it's not a huge deal but typically when something/someone you care about is the object of relentless ridicule you can't helped but feel slightly embarassed.. if nothing else embarassed [I]for [/I]them.
