There are a lot of teams he would have to get past for the NYJ to even have a shot and supposedly there is a great deal of interest...we are probably just doing due dilligence

If the Jets sign Moss it is clear(although this is already clear to me) that Tannenbaum is a clueless fat bastid. You dont just collect anything thats out there because you can. You build a team and bringing Moss in goes against everything a team stands for.

Dont give me that crap that we need to block the Pats. We already beat the pats with Moss on the roster.

(Jets cut Holmes, he gets signed by Pats, Jets sign Moss, Moss screws around for a while, complains about the ribs, Tanny cuts Moss, Moss goes back to Pats.)

Can we use Moss as a pass rushing specialist? Some how we need to generate a pass rush, our entire defense is prediacted on getting to the quaterback and thats the one thing that we can't do.

They way things are going, we'll need a Hail Mary specialist more than anything.

Pats at Foxboro is a must win for the Jets. Moss' loyalty is not to be trusted as it's clear he's still Belichick's puppet. With Moss aboard and exposed to our playbook, he might go the wrong way, snitch and betray us. Why chance it? He's stupid enough to comply with NE if they call him.

He actually has some experience as a safety in obvious Hail Mary situations. Maybe Rex is interested in Moss in this defensive capacity and not as a WR.
