Interesting playoff scenario for the Jets and Phins

If the Jets lose today and lose next week against the Bears, we would guarantee a playoff spot going head-to-head against the Dolphins, so long as we beat the Bills on the last day of the season, even if the Dolphins win out their remaining games. I thought some of you might be interested in this.

The reason for this is simple: The Jets would be 2-2 against the NFC, and the Phins would be 3-1 against the NFC, which would mean that the Jets and Phins would have the exact record in the AFC East, but the Jets AFC overall record would be one win better than the Phins. :)

So that's what it's come down to with 3 weeks left in the season....worrying about winning a tie-breaker with the Dolphins? You have way too much time on your hand, my friend.
