If we lose one of our top two WR's this offseason:

I'd be on board bringing in T.O. The Bengals have said they won't resign him.

72 catches for 983 yards and nine touchdowns after 14 games.

Call me crazy but I think at this point bringing him in on a 1 year incentive type deal is a win win.

I'd only consider this if we lose Braylon or Santonio.

I realize he runs his mouth at times but the guy is a baller. He brings it each and every Sunday.

We still have Cotchery. Santonio/Cotch or Braylon/Cotch is still a solid duo. We can draft a young guy to use as our #3.

+1

What Sanchez needs is someone who is always open on third down. Hate to say this, but he needs someone like Welker. Someone he can rely on to know where the holes in the zone are, attack them and push the sticks.

No TO please...

Ocho I'd be fine with but I truly think that TO brings bad mojo to the lockerroom. Ocho goofs around but he's OK if they are winning. TO clowns around but he's not OK if he isn't getting his touches, even if the team is winning.

Is the goal to be on Hard Knocks every season?

Or to win?

You have to wonder...had the Jets NOT been on Hard Knocks, you think they would be getting this much vitriol by everyone? Doubt it.

Heck, I bet the Braylon DUI situation would've been swept under the rug like many of the other cases...

Oh and Cotchery still has TWO YEARS left on his deal and it's about $4 Million dollars. If they cut him, the Jets only save about $450,000 dollars. So I think they have him restructure his contract which would help in re-signing both Tone and Bray-Bray.

Terrell is an "O" but my WR corps for 2011 is as follows:

Jerricho, Santonio and Plaxico.

Don't forget this guy is due to be sprung from the Big House in April. I can also tell you that he will come out with a HUGE chip on his shoulder, he feels he was "made an example of", "did nothing wrong, but shoot himself" and will play like an NFL beast for any team willing to take a 2nd chance on him.

The Jets blew the load with passing on Mike Vick and we're all witnesses to how that's working out. For the Eagles.

Get Me Plaxico Cappy. Make It Happen.

Plaxico 34 next year

Brayon 28.

Sorry but give me the Younger WR who would grow with Sanchez and who WON'T Cause Trouble like Plaxico does.

Totally agree. I am one of the few around here who actually would keep Braylon over Holmes. To me he has more of an up side. Holmes is a small target. Edwards has improved by leaps and bounds from his 2009 "year of the drop".

I have no doubts that TO will be a good player next year, but he would not do well with Sanchez. Sanchez has already shown he has a tendency to force passes to covered receivers, and I imagine that would only get worse if TO was constantly demanding the ball.
