Allen Bailey

Everywhere I look it seems like he's dropping.

The general consensus until about a month ago was that he was pretty much a lock for the Top 25-30.

If Heyward, Jordan, and Watt are off the board by the time we go on the clock (a very real possibility), do you guys take Bailey? He was one of my favorite prospects entering the year and I think he's tailor made for Rex's defense. He's definitely a great athlete, something we could absolutely use along the DL.

3-4 DE version of Gholston. No Thanks.

In terms of measurables, maybe. But I don't see the comparison beyond that. Everything I've heard about Bailey insists that football is extremely important to him and that he has a motor that never stops.

Those were the two big knocks on Gholston coming out. Was he a football player or just a dude who loved to lift weights? He also had a reputation for taking plays off and not giving full effort.

Watch that and tell me you don't see the NFL version of Gholston. No explosiveness, only move is a bull rush, doesn't react fast to plays and overall pretty lackadaisical. And this is in college, where at least Gholston dominated sometimes, where I never have seen Bailey take over a game like his measureables would say he should.
