Deadspin is working on a story that Mark Sanchez slept with a 17 year old .

The entire story of what this legal letter hints at will be revealed on Tuesday. Rest assured, the lawyer has left out a few details. We won't publish this young lady's full name, but if the photos she sent to us from her Blackberry of Mark Sanchez's bedroom — supposedly taken on her cell phone after she spent the night with him a few weeks ago — were not sent by her, then there's more to this than previously suspected. Most likely, not, though. Just a hunch.

Members of the Jets organization have been made aware of our and her story. They're in the process of fact-gathering and working on a statement. We'll keep you updated if anything else happens before Tuesday.

Age of consent in New York is 17 (and given the timeline "a few weeks ago", and the fact that the lawyer is citing New York state laws, it seems to suggest at least to me that Sanchez would've been in NY at the time of the incident), it might be poor judgement, but there's nothing illegal there.

ehhh its not illegal but its frowned upon but what is he supposed to do ya know, he's 24 she's 17 and to be honest i wouldnt be surprised if she told him she was 20-21.. probably had a fake id and met him out at a club.

just skimming this crazy list, close of age exceptions abound in the states that establish it at 18 years old ... for example where it's legal for a 16 year old to consent to a 26 year old in De and Utah.

Mark should just stick with watching Porn or something 'cause, like someone said, you can no longer differentiate the age of a female just by looking at her these days.


Also, with the ability to record using Cellphone cameras and all that(as we saw with Rothelsberger in that bar), it's much more risky even if she was of the age of consent(which she is).

It's a non-issue, as far as I'm concerned but Mark has to be more careful(live and learn, Nacho.) in the future. Nowadays anyone can get a Fake ID and get into bars and such....

Deadspin claims that the pictures of what is *allegedly* Mark Sanchez's bedroom belongs to E.K.

How can they be so sure of that? First off, for E.K. to hire a LAWYER(and that costs money) to leave her alone, tends to suggest that whomever took those snapshots somehow had E.K.'s phone. It sounds crazy but I don't think E.K. would be stupid enough to even associate herself with Deadspin. Yes, I read that they said she "cooperated" with them but they're full of sh-t regardless...their word means NADA to me.

And BTW, *IF* Deadspin has the "evidence" of any wrong-doing, what are they doing reporting it on their site instead of just sending it to the proper authorities? And I mean BEFORE the lady "Lawyer'd Up". I call Bullsh-t to this entire thing. Apparently, some of the Deadspin people are Ben Rape-lsberger fans and wanted to deflect that attention toward the Jets.

I've read other articles on Sanchez written by Deadspin and there's one talking about that USC case he had and I sensed while reading it a sort of bitterness that Poor little ol' Ben is getting crapped on(rightfully so) while Sanchez' so-called Transgressions were "forgotten".


That proves that Deadspin is run by a bunch of Steeler fans.

Idk, I didn't click on the pics. I scrolled over them and read what everyone was saying. The first pic of Sanchez next to a girl at the top is her I guess. So thats a pic of what she looks like atleast.

Yes, but irrelevant to Sanchez considering those pics were gotten from a 3rd party (supposedly). With that said though, it's in poor taste whoever found and posted them for those reasons (her being a minor)
