NBA Playoffs: Who would you prefer the Knicks get in the First Round?

This is classic 'be careful what you wish for' stuff, but who do you think the Knicks have a better shot to beat in the first round: Heat or Celtics?

Knicks split the season with Miami (2-2) and are 0-3 vs Boston with the two teams closing our the season next week.

Definitely Miami. Celtics are always a scary team to see come playoff time. I think we match up well against the Heat. The series should be extremely entertaining and I could definitely see Melo going into beast mode against Lebron.

Bulls - yes they were not an option but I would still love to see my Knicks beat them and ruin their season. Too many scars from watching Jordan OWN NY in the 90's.

Knicks match up better with Miami btw. An upset of the Heat would be almost as rewarding as watching the NBA's new sweetheart Derrick Rose play golf after round 1 again.

Miami about to beat Boston. Probably not a good thing for those of us who want to play Miami in round one.

Playing Boston the last game of the regular season will likely present a very strange dynamic. The starters will see limited action but the scrubs could determine the 2 and 3 seed as well as the 6 and 7 seed and if the two teams will meet days later in the 1st round.

I'd like to play the nets, that series I think we can win -- who's in charge of arranging that?

i went with boston.. the celtics are an old battered up team with a weak bench and little chemistry since the perkins trade. I feel like the heat are gonna go off in the playoffs and play to there caliber, i know the celtics finished weak last regular season but the team this year and the team last year are not the same, i dont fear them at all, but like the OP said, be careful what you wish for

Knicks will clinch the 6 seed assuming Orlando hangs on to the double digit lead vs Philadelphia. I might be wrong, but I think if Miami beats Atlanta and Boston ends up losing to the Wizards, the Celtics will lock up the 3 seed.

Boston, celtics are on their last legs. Their a completely different team without Perkins. The worst rebounding team in the league and are the lowest scoring team in the last 20 or so games.

You don't want to play LeBron and Wade if you don't have too, JMO.

Won't care either way, estatic too see a playoff basketball game at the garden, ahhhh...

And Boston going to OT. They blew a 6 point lead with a bout a minute left, I believe.

I voted Heat, but I have second thoughts.

Wizards and Celtics headed to overtime in DC...

Not that I am interested in this happening, but if the Knicks tie Atlanta would they get the #5 seed (and Orlando) ??

I'm not sure. Head-to-head, Knicks are 2-2 against the Hawks this year. I don't know what the next tiebreaker would be.

Defense + rebounding = NBA playoff basketball wins. Knicks will be knocked out in the first round.
