Knicks will be lucky to win one game.

Teams like Boston can just hit a switch come playoff time.

I feel strongly that the Knicks can push them to 6 games.

Agreed. I think they'll give Boston all they can handle.

I admit I am not as big as an NBA guy as those on here. But I have been following pretty closely.

I don't see the Knicks making this close giving up 105+ points in the playoffs.

It's a no-lose situation for the Knicks.

We'll see if they can play *enough* defense to win or they get completely exposed and D'Antoni is replaced... Maybe by Jeff Van Gundy.

Win-win.

Van Gundy is never coming back to the Knicks as long as Dolan is there..

I see this series going one of two ways...the Knicks will give the Celtics all they can handle and push it to 6 or 7...

or the C's flip the switch like they did last year and win in 5 or 4..

I am leaning towards the first scenario...

In other words, you think the series could possibly go 4 or 5 or 6 or 7 games.

I couldn't agree more.

I love how Perkins has suddenly been idealized into some sort of Wes Unseld/Moses Malone hybrid now that he has been traded. The C's were 33-10 and 8-3 against the Heat, Lakers and Bulls before Perkins played a single minute this year.

The absence of Perkins has nothing to do with the success or failure of the C's in the playoffs this year. The play of Rajon Rondo has everything to do with it. If he is at his best, the C's are still a legit title contender. If he continues to play like a washed-up, poor man's version of Jason Kidd, then they will be lucky to survive the first round.

C's in 6 (I hope). Should be an entertaining series.

With or without Kendrick the Celtics are a tought matchup for the Knicks.

And yes the Perkins trade was not good for the Celtics. He was a physical inside presence on offense and defense and Garnett publicly was upset about the trade.
