New York Jets coach Rex Ryan will appear on "The Late Show with David Letterman" next Monday night. Ryan will talk about his new book, "Play it Like You Mean It: Passion, Laughs and Leadership in the World's Most Beautiful Game."

I'm sure that won't be all Ryan and Letterman chat about.

With Letterman asking the questions, you can expect no taboo subjects. Letterman is one of the cleverest interviewers, and it's difficult to find a more willing participant than Ryan, who will show up armed to the teeth with self-deprecating one-liners.

Also coming up on CBS is Ryan's cameo appearance with Jets general manager Mike Tannenbaum on "CSI: NY." That will be Friday night, when the second and third rounds of the draft are taking place.

I wonder if the Jets will have picture-in-picture in their war room.[/I]

Used to be a big fan but Letterman hasn't been funny since Rex had a 28" waist.

Agreed, he's hit or miss these days but when he hits, it's usually pretty good.

I'll definitely be watching (on DVR) because Rex will make Dave look good. Was a day when Dave made almost anyone look good.

IMO, Letterman can still be funny at times. Enough so that he keeps me tuning in a couple nights a week.
