First pick in the 2012 NFL Draft is ...

I always like starting this thread after the draft ends.

I am going to easy route and predicting Andrew Luck.

Luck and it's not even really a contest.

As for the Jets pick...

You should retitle the thread "Second pick is..." because I don't think there's a single person in the football world that doesn't have Luck as the #1 guy for next year.

Glad there's another fan out there. He won't be around though. He's such a stud.

Holy ****.

Since everyone thinks Luck...how about the first non-Luck pick?

It's not even a contest.

Andrew Luck is the best QB prospect to come down the pike maybe since Elway. He's definitely going #1 overall.

Watch Caronlina wind up with the 1st pick again and be forced to pass on him.

How many times in the last 6 years did we say, "Man he would've been the top pick if he came out this year!"?

How many times did those players drop like rocks?
How about every time.

I'm sticking to the trend.
Luck falls in the draft.

Andrew Luck is not Matt Leinart.

Andrew Luck is not Brady Quinn.

Andrew Luck is not Jake Locker.

Andrew Luck is legitimately the best QB prospect since Peyton Manning.

There's no way in hell he's not the #1 pick.

I didn't follow the draft back in 98 when Manning was picked, but Matt Ryan was my favorite QB prospect in the last 5 years and Andrew Luck will be a superior prospect.

Too early to tell but probably Luck. Which dumb ass team who has committed to a suspect Qb this year will be picking 1st overall next year? Uh----oh we can't take a QB because we have had a year of Andy Dalton!

I could easily see a scenario where Carolina ends up with the #1 pick again next year. That team was/is horrible and their going to have a green QB starting this year anyway you slice it (Newton or Clausen). Not to mention that their best player on offense, Steve Smith, wants out of town.

Imagine that, having the best QB prospect in the past 10+ years staring you in the face, and you're forced to pass because you gave Cam f*cking Newton a $60 million dollar contract the year before.

I would riot in the streets if I was a Panthers fan.

I would laugh uproariously. At the Panthers and a few people on this forum.

It's almost already decided by McShay and Kiper, isn't it. Luck is the guy.

Okay, fine, its Luck. Let's pick some guys who could be targets for the Jets in the first round.

Since the Jets did not address OLB, lets look at the following throughout the year:

Donte Paige-Moss - DE/OLB North Carolina

Courtney Upshaw - DE/OLB Alabama

Devin Taylor - DE/OLB South Carolina
