The Tea Party is a movement about fiscal restraint. As much as you want to believe that it is anything other than that, you're incorrect.

The GOP and Tea Party are one in the same. They'd like to think that they are different...but all they stand for is the same thing that the GOP stands for. Everything that is opposite than Obama. For example: The Tea Party would be considered different than the GOP....if they were actually for fiscal responsibility. But Tea Party freshman have inserted pork into spending bills at the same rate as the GOPers they were elected to replace. It's all a fraud. They stand for nothing. |

The Tea Party is a subset of people that consists primarily of people who traditionally vote Republican and Libertarian. It is a fiscal movement. It has nothing to do with Muslims. You are as confused as the fringe people within it that get the majority of the media's attention that gave you this impression in the first place. |

ACORN also was just a movement with no political affiliations. Don't confuse as the fringe people within it that get the majority of the media's attention that gave you this impression in the first place. Yes. The Tea Party has no political affiliations. It's just a massive coincidence that all Tea Party members elected to congress also just happen to be registered Republicans. A big, giant, hilarious coincidence... |

It is a fiscal movement.
While it may have started this way, why are so many of the people at their rally simple there to oust the Kenyan and take back America for the Christians? Some real wackos. |

Barack Obama doesn't stand for anything. And he never will! That's his/our whole problem. He'll say one thing and then do the other. No backbone. No balls. No guts. It's no wonder the Tea Party Republicans push him around. They fill the leadership vacuum that Obama has created. :jets17 |
Sometimes it's hard to tell what the tea party stands for, but it's never hard to tell what this man stands for. He's a pretty unique politician, and therefore, pretty special.
I'm ok with him trying to change things, he's the only one who has ever done this. But He made public employees start paying back into the pension. After how many millions of dollars was stolen, he's making public employees pay back something that was stolen from them? Not right. |
