Good news. I'm not much of a hockey fan, but it's nice to see the return of an old WHA team. Hopefully these two will be next:

For the whalers, danbury has a minor league team that took that name over, I think it is the rangers farm team

Even though I was an Islanders fan back in the day, I'll never forget going to a Rangers-Jets game at the garden back in the 80's in which Winnipeg was winning handily. The Garden crowd started a J-E-T-S chant which had me dying!
