I am seriously ghrooving to this obscure nobody Norweigian Band of late, more than I expected to tbqh.

Closest guitar work I've heard to Gilmour tbh. At least recently.

Vocals are a bit meh for me, more Porcupine Tree willowness than P.F. bluesrock.

But intriguing.

Now have both albums on the iPod, solid listening getting alot of repeats. The solos are quite the soaring epic at spots.

Till one of the Floyds put out another solo disc, this is probably the best I'm going to get for Floyd-style tunes.

Am about 28 minutes in (sounds like my honeymoon. ). Listening on YouTube. Gotta say that I really like what I'm hearing. Very evocative, well played, music.

Clearly, these guys idolize Pink Floyd, especially the guitar player, who channels the best elements of David Gilmour. I like his playing immensely. I hear lots of allusions to Darkside and Wish You Were Here.

But it's not just Pink Floyd. I hear elements of Vangelis (especially during the days of his Albedo 0.39 record), as well as Kitaro and, yes, Coldplay. The vocalist reminds me a lot of Chris Martin.

Let's see; now entering minute 35 of the record. Still interesting. My one critique is that I am sitting here waiting for an up tempo number. Okay, not a rave up, but something where they can stretch out and launch into some spirited solos.

Thanks a ton for posting this album. I need to delve further into the band's work.

I'm thinking a bit too heavy for most but the metalheads in the crowd should get some Meshuggah in the library.
