Really weak class. Parcells should make it definitely. Shields maybe one day. Tiki did not play long enough at a high level. Some of the guys on the list were never really elite players.

Tiki is going to make it, then have to decline because the Pats are going to sign him to a mega 4 year deal.

How is the greatest player at his position not in the HOF?

They'll probably put Ray Guy in posthumously.

Mike freaking Vanderjagt???? What is his claim to fame? His accurracy? Didn't he have a meltdown in the playoffs or in a big spot one year? Might as well make room for Nate Kaeding...

Coaches: Only Cowher deserves to make it. Parcell will probably make it b/c NY media loves him. Shottenheimer – no shot.

The Above Average: Tiki Barber, Drew Bledsoe, Stephen Davis, Rod Smith, Troy Vincent, and Will Shields

The Average Player with Big Mouth (aka the “Ochocinco”): Keyshawn Johnson. Until Drew Pearson makes it in the HOF, this guy has ZERO shot.

Great, but plays the wrong position: Mike Vanderjagt – kickers have a hard time making it in. Given his issues with teammates, he won’t make it. Probably should.

Not sure how Cowher deserves it and Parcells doesn't.

He won 2 SB and went to another, had a much higher winning percentage then BC, turned around a bunch of franchises including ours.

Not saying Cowher doesn't, but love him or hate him, BP absolutley does deserve to be in the HOF, notwithstanding what he did to the Jets at the end.

Parcells will make it as soon as this year.

Cowher will make it eventually.

BTW..Cowher (.623) had a much greater winning pct than Parcells (.570)

Parcells took a bad Giants team and won two super bowls, he took the Pats, who were awful to the super bowl in less than 3 years, he took the Jets, who were awful to the AFC championship game and he also turned around the Cowboys. To do that with 4 different teams says a lot about his coaching. Cowher didn't do that. Cowher is a great coach but not better than Parcells. Only reason Cowher has higher winning percentage is because Parcells took over crap teams turned them around.

Did you know that Tiki Barber is overrated? LOL What's the difference between him and Ricky Waters? I think Ricky Waters did the same things Tiki did, but in less years.
