are you kidding me with this snow? It has been blizzard like since noon, bailed early on the HS football game early as the conditions were worse than anything I remember in February. I have a fully leaved (is that a word?) cherry tree threatening the power, phone, and cable lines to my house right now. I have decided to have a screwdriver, something I have not had in at least 25 years...ok, on my second now.

i just cut my grass

as for the leaves, that is a big problem. every october we get snow and the birch tress hang all the way to the lawn. we go out and knock the snow off- they bounce back up. but bigger trees that don't droop are a real problem.

The big cyprus, and hemlocks I'm not so worried about, they're used to the snow, however I have huge bradford pears and this cherry tree that look very unhappy right now ...

That backyard looks big enough to host a Hampur Reunion....

And **** this snow....went to a kids Halloween party just on the other side of town and what is a 5 minute hop turned into a white-knucked drive of death for 40 minutes....

My wifes CRV was a week away from getting new tires, driving the kiddies in her car on the way home was no fun.....time to drink and play some Dead Island is the spirit of Halloween. Stay safe everyone...
