The Start/Sit Thread
Figured since Im making one of these every week, we can have an all purpose start/sit thread so everyone (mostly me) can discuss each others tough start/sit decisions.
Ill kick it off. PPR league. Which do I put in my flex spot? Reggie Bush against Washington or Stevie Johnson against Dallas? |

good call on this thread.
Stevie Johnson for me. here's my issue and it's my flex. Do I flex: LT (NE), Percy Harvin (GB) or Steve Breaston (DEN) here's the rest of my roster for context, n btw non ppr QB - Ben RB1 - Turner RB2 - Benson Flex - ? WR1 - Steve Johnson WR2 - Jabbar Gaffney TE- Jimmy Graham DEF - Hou K - Cundiff EDIT: I just picked up Jacoby Ford and am flexing him for the game tonight against the Chargers. I have until gametime to change my mind, so what do you guys think? Last edited by TurkJetFan; 11-10-2011 at 12:49 PM. |

AGAW, they are saying 15-20 touches for Matthews tonight. Im giving him a go just because it is PPR. If I were you I would start him and Helu in the flex if you need that spot filled.
If you had to make the choice between the two, I would go with Helu. He seems to be the feature back in Washington now. |

thanks....yeah i'm running with Jacoby this week. I like him a lot more with McFadden sitting. i expect the raiders to go down in this game early so I think Jacoby will get even more looks and the raiders will be looking for the big play.

who to start, who to start.
Helu @ Miami Boldin @ Seattle Pierre Thomas @ ATL my league is a non-ppr but i'm still leaning towards Helu. he is looking like the starter and going to get the majority of the work, but WASH O sucks and Miami has a decent run D. Also, Washington D @ Miami or Philly D against ARI @ home I have WASH in right now and thinking about starting them. |

Id probably go Helu. Hes gonna get you rushing and receiving yards. I didnt see the Redskins game/highlights but I assume they give him a lot of screen passes.
As for the D, I know Washington is tempting but Miami's offense is picking it up a bit. Freddy Jackson had a field day on Washington and I think Reggie Bush could do the same especially if Miami runs those sweeps and screens. Arizona is generating nothing with Kevin Kolb as QB. Their back up out performed him and theyre on the road against a team that should be able to beat up on bad teams. Id go Philly there. |

AP is doubtful this week...gotta take to the waiver wires/bench
McKnight vs. Buff (sounds like Greene will play but Buffalo gives up a lot of rushing yards and maybe McKnight sees some carries again) Spiller vs. NYJ (Jackson is ruled out) Obogyana vs. CIN (had a couple of nice games but the Bengals D is tough) PPR |

Who to flex?!? Non ppr league!
Hillis, Donald Brown, Santana Moss or Steve Johnson?? I'm not thrilled with any of these options this week but right now I'm actually leaning toward Santana Moss. Hillis is starting but who knows, Addai is starting today ahead of Brown, and Steve Johnson is going against Revis and has been underwhelming to say the least the last few weeks. What do you think??? |
