Its obvious that the Jets have some issues with their personnel. So how would you prioritize the fix. In other word, during the off season what gets top priority:

1. Safeties
2. Rushing lineman
3. Offensive lineman
4. Linebacker
5.QB
6. TE's
7. Defensive lineman....
Forgot New OC..

A safety with range maybe 2 of them. A new OC. A RT and a big target TE who can block.

Safety is #1. We always lose to teams with great TEs. The Ravens and the Steelers beat the Pats because they have great safeties.

Linebacker is #2. Imagine we have a guy like Ware...

Blocking TE is #3. Mulligan costed us about 8 plays.

1 & 2 have been need positions for the past two years.

I would add a big stud WR that can stretch the field. Biggest error of the off season was messing with our WR's
1) Pass rush
2) Pass rush
3) Pass rush

With the Jets corners a pass rush could take the Jets from an above average defense into an exceptional defense. A pass rushing OLB & a ILB to push & or replace Bart Scott.
I would say QB...but since that's not on the list

Offensive Line - if you're stuck with Sanchez at QB - then you need a dominant O-line.

Our defense is fine - it's still a top defense in the league...They can win with this defense but can NOT win with offense.

The rules are in place to not allow dominant defenses anymore.
