Harsh Observations ...

Before we move onto DEN I have to get a couple of things off my chest:

- The amount of bone-headed mistakes on Sunday were ridiculous. Its one
thing to lose but to shoot yourself repeatedly is just maddening:
* A missed FG
* A dropped INT
* Two blown coverages on Johnson
* A dropped punt
* Not covering a fumbled punt
* A bad time out
* Not catching a screen that creates an INT

- In addition I'm concerned about our offensive problems. Are they totally
on Schott or is Sanchez QB IQ where it should be? That time out in the first
half was ridiculous and why against a pathetic NE secondary did he look so
bad??? Was it Schott's vanilla formations (which Cimini pointed out) which
didn't challenge NE secondary to make adjustments or was it Sanchez not
being smart/aggressive enough to make a play??? At this point I'm not sure
but Sanchez has got to be better

On to a breakdown on DEN here's what I saw when they played KC:

- Their defense is incredibly small. The edges of their defense are
particularly vunerable against the run because they have two small pass
rushers (Miller & Dumervil) who always want to get up the field. They don't
have enough size to hold up, we should commit to the run early and often.
Downhill runs, draws and screen passes should be effective

- They don't run a college offense they run a high school offense. When
they are on their side of the field they'll allow Tebow to throw a WR screen
but nothing over the middle where there's a lot of coverage. When they get
to mid field they'll allow Tebow to throw a bomb because if its an INT its like
a punt. Their O-Line is physical and well coordinated we have to win at the
point of attack. I would have Ellis starting in place of Westerman on
Thursday and I would be running a 46 defense all game

We blew our chance at the AFC East and home games on Sunday but if we
are serious about making the playoffs we better take care of business over
the next 5 games

DEN
BUF
WAS
KC
PHI

All of those teams have serious issues, a playoff team will exploit them. Are
we one of those???

Nothing went the Jets way on Sunday night!
Actually we had our hands on THREE PICKS!
Wilson
Cromarty in end zone
Leonard on a tipped ball

We also SOMEHOW couldn't cover the fumbled snap by Brady & that was DEEP in their own side of the field! How the hell Mo didn't get that one blows my mind, that's why I say it was JUST NOT OUR NIGHT!

Even when we made a play...........FLAG!
Where I was sitting there were two phrases:
WHAT THE F--CK WAS THAT!
ARE YOU F--CKING KIDDING ME!

It was that kind of night
PS- ANYONE THAT DOESN'T THINK SHOTTY NEEDS TO GO IS A MORON, I'M SORRY, A FREAKING MORON!

I posted in another thread that this offense has NOTHING to hang there hat on?
They have no GO TO PLAYS.
When I watch the Jets, it feels like someone is picking a play out of a hat & calling it?
On that 1st drive, everyone in our section was like, "RUN IT DOWN THERE EFFING THROATS!"

EMPTY BACKFIELD? WHAT! WHAT! WHAT THE F*CK!
