Is Anyone Else Worried About The Broncos?
I don't remember such unanimous support for a Jet win in a long time...
Pundits, talk show hosts, so-called experts all picking the Jets, discounting Tebow as a "one trick pony" or an "option QB..." Everyone thinks Jets should win easy... But I'm concerned: Ridiculously short week... Possible hangover from the Patriot debacle... Thin air, high altitude in Denver... No LT... No Kerley... All the pressure on the Jets, Broncos have nothing to lose... Surprisingly shaky run defense... Wayne Hunter... Schottenheimer...:eek: Tebow as the wildcard (Is God on their side?)...:eek::eek: Please tell me I'm not going to have another sleepless night... |

Should always be wary about a game in the NFL. There is a reason that teams like Seattle have managed to beat the Giants and Ravens.
But the Jets very likely won't lose this... We are too big and good in the front 7 imo. When the Jets know you are running, it's going to be tough to pull it off and that will be shown tonight. |

We're an inconsistent team so nothing is ever in the bag, but this is a game we definitely should win

yep
shouldn't be, but I am :( because of those already mentioned out in this game, plus worrying about the pass rush-- from ESPN: The Broncos have become a strong pass-rushing team in recent games with Elvis Dumervil finally becoming healthy. Dumervil and rookie Von Miller are a nasty pass-rushing duo. Denver had four sacks and constantly harassed Kansas City quarterback Matt Cassel (who suffered a serious hand injury in the game) Sunday. Watch for the Broncos to try to unleash Dumervil and Miller -- who has eight sacks and who is a legitimate defensive rookie of the year candidate -- on Sanchez. |

If this game isn't over in the first quarter I'd be shocked.

Not worried about the Broncos at all.
But I am worried about the Jets. This is a game the Jets should dominate statistically, but turnovers and specials are the great equalizers. Will Sanchez avoid the unforced turnover? Will some unknown Bronco run back two returns for TDs (a la Teddy Ginn)? Will the defense wrap up in the run game as it has for most of the year, or does McGahee pull a Mendenhall? If the answers to these questions are no, the Jets should run away with this one. This is not a game Denver can win. But it's a game the Jets can lose. |

Pundits, talk show hosts, so-called experts all picking the Jets,
Yeah, it's hard to remember as far back as last Sunday night vs. NE. :-) As a rule of thumb from someone who has followed the Jets for over 30 years... when everyone is on them, be afraid. |

Ah yes, the wonderful defenses that's 29th in points allowed. The held the Chiefs to 10 points, but KC is only scoring 15/game anyway. |

We'd better take it out on this team...last week was a national display of complete ineptitude |

I'm not worried about the Broncos, I'm worried about the Jets. If the Jets play a decent game, not even a great game but decent they win. If not they have proven they can lose to anyone.

The media must be dizzy from all the 180's they do on the Jets. |
