I don't even know what to say about this team. I am not one to give up early -- lord knows I've enjoyed watching Chicken Littles embarrass themselves calling a game over early then we pull out a win -- but can anyone have any realistic belief that this team, as presently constructed, can go 5-1 for the wild card? I'm trying, and I just can't. :(

The jets were an aberration and pretenders for most of this year. They legitimately looked good in about 2 games all year. The jets front office and coaches have a lot to answer for. They did ZERO about the weak spots on the team that got weaker and fiddled with areas where were okay.

I have to agree with posters above. They just have to use this as an opportunity for self examination, rehash everything a build up for next year. We still have some legit talent on this team which gives some hope for next year but they have to make the right moves.

This is a disgrace , I have seen so many bad things from this franchise but these 2 last games have been so bad.

Rex is to blame for this whole mess. He talks alot of garbage and he cant back it up.

This defense has choked in big situations,

The offense is terrible.

Rex has allowed Schotty to destroy this offense and retard Sanchez progress.

Good post. Taking Schotty back was going to happen. But saying bye to Braylon, not picking up a veteran tackle, and relying on guys like Pace, Smith, and Jim Leonard...ugh. Also, we're stuck with Tone even if Plax is playing better than him. Not to mention we don't have a good enough RB for ground and pound nor a good enough QB to be considered in the top half of the league. Yikes.

8-8 this year. Off-season needs:

OT
Safety
3-4 OLB who can set the edge and get the QB
