I'm Tired of Rex Saying

"Give ____ a ton of credit, they did a heck of a job"....how about you take ownership rex. you talk a bunch of **** and then you deflect praise on the other team...

man up...admit it...at least andy reid is doing that....he's not giving anyone credit...nobody here cares what Denver did. We care what you did/didnt do...

He's a glorified DC. Not a head coach

Not to pile on, but that is getting annoying. He needs to take ownership of the whole team and stop tip-toeing around criticizing the offense. It's very transparent.

I admire his sense of team in that he's had a ton of chances to throw Brian under the bus, but he hasn't.

But Rex needs to hold the offense accountable. Right now I feel like Ryan is the head coach of the defense and Schotty is HC of the offense.

looks like he read my mind...

it's true...and i agree with what Ray just said....Rex doesn't respect Tebow....and he shouldn't pretend to...he's mr. honesty right? so when you lose man the F up and say so....

and STOP telling me this team will get better....just get better already, although i'm afraid it will be too little too late.

Rex doesn't fry guys in the press. It's what he does behind closed doors that counts.

He had an issue with Mason, he didn't fry him in the press, he just got rid of him. You can't cut a coach mid year, let see what happens on off season.

Why can't you? Countless teams have done it, and it's happened every season.

I don't see anything wrong with him giving the other team credit.

When you listen to Rex pressers when he says "we", as in "we had a good game up until the end", the "we" he is refering to is the Defense. I love Rex and what we have accomplished, but he really needs to own the whole team.

What I can't hear again is Sanchez saying "These guys are a resilient bunch"

i do because of the way he boasts his team....when he wins he said "We knew it" when they lose he says "they did a great job over there"

for once it'd be nice to hear him say, "offense was unacceptable, we didn't do the job, we gave it up at the end"

his mantra is being so real...so be real about it.

notice sanchez didn't say "we" are a resilient bunch...i guess just the guys around him are....i think that speaks volumes about where his head is at....

he is not mentally the leader of this team.

I'm tired of the wr's running benny-hill patterns, running into each other, making the NFL Follies.

I don't know, I remember him saying things like "you can't make that many mistakes " after the Pats game. I don't care for people calling out others in press conferences. If he felt the offense sucked, which it clearly did, he can handle that behind closed doors.

I was waiting for him to say today (and on Sunday, especially), "This loss is on me. I obviously didn't do a good job preparing my team and coaching."

I'm tired of the refs only protecting the NFL DARLING QB's and watching Sanchez take vicious shots that were clearly very late. I mean, if the defender has time to get low and then explode, he is hitting that QB late.

Its pitiful that there is an official that sits back there and is responsible for watching the QB the entire time.

if he can handle that behind closed doors, then he should keep his optimism behind closed doors as well...

as far as I'm concerned he should either go all in either way or just stop it already.

rex better start holding his defense accountable now. They just let a QB who cant throw go 95 yards in 3 minutes. This has been a trademark of this so called great defense for 3 years. for every time they come up big there are at least 3 other times when a stop is needed and they choke. The first Pats came. 6 minutes left all they need is a stop and no. The first year there were at least 4 games they gave up at the end. This happens way to many times and then the excuse is someone blew an assignment. Good defense wins this game[QUOTE=jetsman51;4240397]I admire his sense of team in that he's had a ton of chances to throw Brian under the bus, but he hasn't.
