Mark Sanchez: Across your radio dial...

Mark Sanchez has now had several regular season game winning drives with less than 2 minutes remaining in 4th quarters in which the team is down and needs a score -- OR when the game is in overtime. In my recollection, here is the list of them:

2010 @ Den
2010 @ Det
2010 @ Cle
2010 vs. Hou
2011 vs. Buf

What is similar about all of these? Schitty playcalling? Well, obviously.

Holmes jogging? Probably

Westhoff needing to STFU? Perhaps

Sanchez' injured shoulder/leg/ego/pouty body language? Likely.

I've heard all these theories, and more, discussed in the thorough and exceedingly well-articulated discourse of this evening on JetsInsider™.

Unfortunately, it's a lot more obvious than any of the above.

Unless I'm missing something, every single Sanchez regular season game winning drive when the team is trailing late or when in OT has occurred when the Jets are moving from left to right across your television.

It's that simple folks. Think back. Put our boy Mark with the cameras facing his good side, and he's money in the clutch. Cameras the other way? Forget the 2 minute drill, just give the damn ball to the #3 CB on the other team, Mark's already in the locker room.

This revelation, coupled with the Schotty reverse-vampire theory, goes a long way towards explaining the offense.

The real clutchness of the detroit game was in the 4th quarter, not OT. Sanchez went from right to left to tie the game up.

that explains the AFCCG in pittsburgh..

the opening drive.

the 4th and goal stop.

the last drive that we never got a chance to have because we couldnt get Pitt off the field on 3rd down.

...all right to left.

In the playoffs, much like in the southern hemisphere, it flows backwards
