I never missed an episode of Taxi. It might be the greatest TV comedy ever. I never laughed harder than when Latka gets rejected by a chick, then develops a split personality to become Vic Ferrari. Andy Kaufman was hilarious. The episode is called, Latka the Playboy.
Too many great Simpsons episodes to choose just one, that's why I didn't mention it. The ones that stand out though:
- Homer vs. the 18th Amendment, when he's a liquor bootlegger and Rex Bannon's arch nemesis. "Send him back to momma, boys" - Cape Feare. "Hello, Mr. Thompson!" .... "I think he's talking to you." - Sideshow Bob Roberts -- brilliant political comedy at its very best - $pringfield, when Mr. Burns opens a casino. "We must get to the plant. Come Smithers, we'll take the Spruce Goose! Hop in!" "... But Sir..." (Cocking revolver) "I said, Hop in." And so many others... Rosebud, See My Vest, Bart the Heir, The Lemon Tree, Bart Sells His Soul, Homer in 3D, the Shinning, etc. Everything up until Season 10ish
agreed. but you still suck for closing teh boobz thread  BRING BACK PAULIE!! Its really remarkable how epic the Simpsons collapse was.
So many classic episodes and then just total horse crap for the past 10 years. Sad. |

Oh man, that one was great. One of the best sub-plots too. "And this is my son Bart, he owns a factory." (Factory falls down, rats run into Moe's across the street) "Alright, everyone tuck your pants into your socks!" |

(Factory falls down, rats run into Moe's across the street) "Alright, everyone tuck your pants into your socks!"
How about the one where Bart gets a job as a bartender in a mob club. I think that's the same one where Fat Tony gets the milk contract for the elementary school and is secretly selling them rat milk. Love the shot of all the rats hooked up to milking machines. Last edited by BushyTheBeaver; 12-01-2011 at 09:36 PM. |

I know it wasn't this post that got him. I think it was death by mod though... He couldn't take the strip anymore. I don't blame him. |

Many mentioned above are favorites, The Pine Barrens may be the all time best, but here are some that haven't been mentioned:
An episode of Homicide (loved that show, any of you young-uns who like The Wire should check it out) where one of the main characters, a cop (Mike was his name I think) was on his boat in the harbor ready to eat his gun, and his partner happens upon him and I think the entire episode is him trying to talk his partner down, really intense, and if you know the show, it wasn't a given that he was going to succeed. Another is the NYPD Blue episode where Jimmy Smits' character dies... All In The Family had many epic episodes, one that I remember is an episode on gun control where Cleavon Little and Demond Wilson (Lamont from Sanford and Son) break into the Bunker's house. A favorite unmentioned Seinfeld is the one where George, the marine biologist, has to save the beached whale... Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk |

This one made me think a bit. Off the top of my head...
The Sopranos - Pine Barrens (as mentioned by several) The Simpsons - Frank Grimes episode and The Softball episode where Mr. Burns recruits all the major leaguers Curb Your Enthusiasm - Several from Season 6 come to mind, where the Blacks move in. The Freak Book episode may be my favorite. It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia - Thinking way back to Season 1, I loved the Jihad Tape episode. More recently (Season 3 or 4), Charlie's Blind Date episode. Seinfeld - Episodes where Kramer feeds the horse Beef-a-roni or whatever the hell it was called and the episode where Steinbrenner thinks George is dead Entourage - First day Aquaman hits theaters Arrested Development - Too many come to mind, I can't choose one |

The recent Breaking Bad Season Finale was as good as it gets.
I love the "Lisa's Diary" simpson's episode; where Homer finds out how little he knows about Lisa; and Sarah Summer (or something) Marisa Tomei was the character's voice. I laughed all the way through that one; memorable on that alone. |

The taxi episode when the guys go to the cabin in the woods.
Another taxi with the gay guy with the gay bar scene at the end. The mash episode when maclean stev nson leaves. The first 29 minutes were hysterical, then wham. The seinfeld episode when jerry has to decide between doing the voice or the girl while kramerica is going on. The all in the family when archie baptizes his grandson. The twilight zone when the criminal goes to "heaven". Seinfeld when george converts to ortrhodox because he likes the hats. |
The Last Mash!!!
http://youtu.be/jrZbWZ6Y8Jk
Beat me to it. The highest rated TV show ever for more than 20 years. As of now, i think only 2 super bowls have beaten it. But for 1 TV show, Jan. 1969 airing of the SB. Also, "How to Serve Man" |
