Josh Baker
This kid had a nice kickoff return on the short kickoff by Washington and eventually led to a Jets TD (Sanchez to Holmes).
I would love to see Baker more involved in the offense. He looks like a prototypical H Back and could give the offense more options. I like his potential. |

I would love to see him play more. He actually looked faster than Shonn Greene running that kick off back.

Baker should never see the field!!!!!
Cause if he sees the field it means less plays for Matt (greatness) Mulligan. |

I certainly think so. I'm as high on Mulligan as I am on McIntyre. |

I know it was 3rd & a billion from deep in their own territory, but what the hell was that call? If you're gonna run a give-up play, why not run a tackle-eligible screen to D'Brick? I'd bet he has more speed and moves than Mulligan. Mulligan will be the first player in NFL history to get called for holding with the ball in his hands. Baker looked like Cumberland-lite in the preseason, maybe he can develop into that second receiving option at TE if Cumberland doesn't come back from injury. |

Baker is the same weight and an inch taller than Aaron Hernandez. He could be a TE/Hback hybrid. |

Most of his pass plays during the week are from the FB position, mimicking that true H-back slot. Don't think he's gonna see much at TE, only to back up Keller at this point. Also hoping the undrafted rookie moniker starts to fade soon. It seems he has to "pull his time" before he gets any significant playing opportunities.

It's maddening to see scrubs like Mulligan and McIntyre get significant playing time while a guy like Baker only sees the field on ST's. |

Nice to see a "BAKER" actually do well for us for a change.
Better than that other so-called "Touchdown maker" if anyone recalls that clown. |

The next Brett Ratliff...[/QUOTE] He certainly has the potential to be better than Mulligan, and really, that's all the potential he needs for the next 4 weeks. |
