How can anybody not want Turner as the OC?
How do you think the Jets would perform with Schotty if we had a decimated offensive line How do you think the Jets would perform if our defense gave two TDs to a rookie QB? How do you think the Jets would perform if our running game was even worse than it is now? How do you think the offense would perform if Sanchez was banged up like Rivers? This guy just does what he can on offense with what he's got. He better be here next season |

That was a very simple job of taking advantage of the coverage. No crazy motion. No blocking TE on the field. No double move. A three-receiver route that took advantage of the coverage. Also on the first possession of the 2nd half. That could even be a half-time adjustment. You would have thought those were illegal if you watched the Jets offense.

If we don't get Norv Turner if he becomes available, Woody should start firing people. Nobody is better at developing young QBs.

Blaine Gabbert is such a massive bust. Be glad we got Sanchez who is at least decent, we could have drafted far worse

 Norv would do what Wade Phillips did to the Texans, and Gregg Williams did for the Saints on the defensive side. |

Gabbert freaking blows
I agree, he's brutal. There's almost no talent around him though. Tough decision they will have as they will get a top 5 pick and could have a top QB prospect available |

Colin Baxter started at center for the Superchargers tonight. Clearly Jacksonville is no Baltimore (though they did beat them), but that shows you how an offense should be handled.

People that criticize Norv Turner can't separate the Head Coach from the Offensive Coordinator.
edit: And San Diego's running game is significantly better than ours. |
This.
But... Tall + Strong Arm = 1st round pick
The guy is basically Kellen Clemens (pocket presence) with height and a quick release. New Rule: If a college QB has the flag on his scouting report saying "Has weak pocket presence" it should be noted that it will probably only get worse in the NFL |
