First year of trying to be a Jets fan but WOW!
As much as I would like to see these guys make the playoffs, I don't think they have it in them. I have been trying all year but there is no change. From reading most of the posts of Jet's fans, I know I am preaching to the choir but as a first year fan, I'm not feeling it.
When the game plan is not working hopefully you have a back up plan and execute it. Don't continually stick with it if its not working. Its like pounding the bent nail and hoping it straightens out! When a lineman struggles, either yank him or alter your scheme to help him out. We can't protect the QB long enough for a 5 second pass, why don't we put the personnel in to target underneath and a young LB corp? (puttying aside the dropped/tipped balls) I don't know what to say about the D. (LB's struggle big time on pass def.!!!) Not add insult to injury but this is just what I've seen when the Jets struggle this year. Again, this is from the outside looking in. Is this how it is every year?? A little frustrated and had to vent, sorry!! Last edited by COVERYOUR6; 12-18-2011 at 06:59 PM. Reason: additional info |

With that being said, I try not to become biased in my assertions, but it seems when players make plays for them, they ignore them. Like now! 4th qtr and 2 min. left!!! |

there are many, many worse teams your son could be playing for, and you still would be proud of his accomplishments. good for you.

No doubt! I am holding out hope for FULL offseason to stimulate production from this team. And that this staff can expand their borders of the BOX, if not qble to think outside of it!!! |
