Jason Taylor to retire after this weekend
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/12/28/jason-taylor-to-retire/
Just one more reason to expect the Fins to go all out this Sunday. |

My initial thought was, uh oh, the guy will have a monster game but I don't think there is too much left in the tank. If he gets lined up against Wayne, then obviously all bets are off but I can't see this being a big deal. As far as I am concerned, the guy could have already been retired.

For the life of me I don't understand why this board thinks the game revolves around one player.

I expect a great game between the Jets and Dolphins.. Taylor is a class act and a great player during his golden days.. He was a game changer, who kept OC's, LT's and QB's up at nights :)

Who gives a shi* about that mouthy jag?
Oh yes, 3/4 of this board that debased themselves last year by fawning over him like our front office did when they begged him to come here when he had no other offers. |

If elected to Canton, I heard he wants to go in as a Jet.

It seems to me that few players retire when they ought to. |

It's not. The entire team and fanbase will want him to go out with a win. |

That would just about be his highlight reel for the last four years as well. There was a time when he was great. He just has not been in along time. |

I feel that Jason Taylor is probably the ONLY GUY that Wayne Hunter can contain BY HIMSELF. He's THAT washed-up. :D

Just one more reason to expect the Fins to go all out this Sunday.
How sad is it that washed up Jason Taylor in the last season of his career had a more prolific season rushing the passer than ANYBODY on the Jets? |

Jason Taylor in the last season of his career is better than Aaron Maybin was even in this aberration stretch of games for him where he's gotten a few sacks. And Maybin leads the Jets in sacks! Maybe the Jets should sign Taylor again for next year, he can't possibly hurt their pass rush. |
