I can't find it anywhere. I have to ask my guy to see if he can order some.

The 2 top triples are Karmeliet and Westmalle. So he should be selling both.

Rochefort could be more difficult.

You and I seem to have the same tastes. I posted this one a while back you should like as well and probably just as hard to find (though Flushing Jet had a 4-pack so I'm sure you can find it somewhere).

If you can find a Bistro 55 anywhere they have awesome beers on tap every week.

I found Maredsous at Wine Country on Rt. US 46 in Clifton NJ, but I saw a better selection of it at Wegman's in Malvern PA the other day.

I found it a little too spicy-clove flavored but that was the Tripel. I bet I'd like the Blonde. I gave the other 3 of the 4 pack to co-workers, one downed 2 in about 10 minutes he didn't realize how strong they were

Really outstanding and worthy of all the buzz. Not the tropical juice hops of Heady Topper, but a true hop head might prefer this one. Nicely balanced and fresh. I was concerned about it spending a week on a Fed Ex truck but it tastes like it came right out of a fresh tap. Well done Russian River Brewing.
I'll be up in Healdsburg this weekend for Mum in Law Day. I will surround myself with Pliny swag and place the photo on JI in a Stokes-ian fashion, to generate envy!

You will envy!

I must break you.

Yup. Nobody in my area sells it--my best beer shoppe doesn't even carry it.

Have to order it, I'd guess.

I'm going to keep digging.

Try ebay - I'd be shocked if you couldn't find it there. Of course, it'll be 4x the retail price, but if you're just looking for a taste....

There's plenty of Pappy on there too....at 3x retail.

Trying this witbier for the first time. Its retired on Beer Advocate so its no longer brewed but it has excellent reviews.

Has anyone tried this?

First of all

I got two yesterday and they are gone. I could get more in a week or so. It's a really nice beer but not THAT nice. You have such high expectations I think you'd be massively disappointed.

I think Alchemist is better, at least for my taste. I received some Three Floyds Zobie Dust too, almost as critically acclaimed -disappointed.

For fifty bucks you'd be better off having me send you a growler of Hill Farmstead Ephraim next time it's released.

Whole Foods carries it (my nephew works at one) and it goes for $225 on eBay. Guys wait for it so they can sell it online; the buzz can't last, right?
