NO. REX deserves another year to learn how to be a complete HC and acquire more talent more suited to his needs. If he insists on talking a better game then actually playing them, then he deserves to be sat down and read the riot act. This team is seriously deficient talent wise thanks to Mr.T and moving up on draft day too many times. I also think that the most important position on the team needs a serious QB competition and the winner is the starter, no matter who that QB is. The loser is the backup this season. Everyone has got to earn their jobs and keep them by winning or else! I voted for one more year and then we will re-visit this question.

Why the hell would we at this point. You need to give a coach at least 5 years to turn a team around. The last thing I want to do is start over again with the same excuses. Those aren't blah blah players so he needs time to bring in his own players and ****.

Lets stick with Ryan for a few more years and give him a chance to build a team and get the staff he wants.

Only the Jets would get impatient and trigger-happy enough to fire a coach who has never had a losing season.

You don't have to rewind Jets history too far to find seasons where 8-8 would have been considered a success. I'm glad we're not satisfied with .500 anymore but firing a two-time AFC Championship Game reaching coach after one 8-8 season is asinine. Starting a thread asking about it is even more so.

And yet three years in Rex has gotten us similar or better results to what Cowher would have done.

No. This guy has given his heart and soul to this team. He is the only one who has tried everything and still does. he needs to build the team his way. I support him 100%. No other coach comes close to him with the intensity he brings.

Rec may not be perfect but he is our best coach in a looooooooong time.

The wonderful Giants have gone 8-8 twice after Super Bowl appearances.
