Name three underrated Albums...
Living In The Material World - George Harrison (1973)
Yeah it's partly spiritual preaching but has many good songs, takes a back seat to 'All Things Must Pass' but it's still pretty good. Blue Jays - Justin Hayward and John Lodge (1975) Two members of the Moody Blues solo album when the band had broken up. Not really a weak track in my opinion. Benefit - Jethro Tull (1970) Tulls 3rd album where in my opinion they came into their own before a change in style. Some all around great tracks. |

nice JT shoutout.
I think in general, alot of people tend to overlook Jethro Tull when it comes down to classic rock. They here the flute and are turned off right away. |

New Radicals - Maybe you've been brainwashed too: Unfortunately the only album from them as the lead singer couldn't deal with fame/performing. The single, "You get what you give" is arguably the defining song of the 90's.
Neko Case - Blacklisted: Hands down the best female in music today, yet no one seems to know who she is Givers - In Light: Best album of 2011 |

Joplin is fantastice throughout, especially on "Summertime" no Dickey Betts, however it marks the return of Warren Haynes and the first studio album featuring Derek Trucks...every track is terrific especially "Woman Across the River," "Instrumental Illness," "Rockin' Horse," & "Firing Line" released at a time when there was no rock music of this type, punk and disco had taken over, Keith Moon died shortly after release, and "The Music Must Change" is a personal favorite |

another rock album when they were few and far between, "Crash and Burn," "Snortin Whiskey," and a great "Born Under a Bad Sign" cover, as well as a Marley cover of "Is This Love" highlight great soft rock group you've never heard of, from the late 70's...title track as well as "County Line," "Fall On Me," and "May You Dance" highlight not sure if this is underrated as it probably has the most recognizable tunes they have recorded, "These Are Days," "Few and Far Between." "Candy Everyody Wants," "Stockton Gala Days," among others |

lol, I have no idea what Viking marauders are doing in the Himalayas, but I LOVED that album. The bass player for Dust is Kenny Aaronson who played with Northeast hard rock acts like Rick Derringer.
blow by blow and school days underrated?
two of the best ever!
I based my decision not on an album's greatness, but on my belief that not enough people have heard, or would recognize, the record. hence, "underrated" in my lexicon. |

Isn't that a pic based on the Hobbit or something? |
