After Watching Senior Bowl Practice
There's no excuse for the Jets not to fill all of their defensive needs
in this draft. There are just too many intriguing players I've seen this week at the positions we have to address (LB, S). They better not miss |

Positives - Fearless, relentless, and fast. Covers a lot of ground on the field. Is usually around the ball. Solid tackler. Can turn and run with TEs in coverage. Can anchor despite slightly high cut build, and uses hands well to shed blocks. Dedicated hard worker on and off the field with virtually perfect durability record. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/p.../nigel-bradham ![]() Robinson Pass defense: Displays nice agility and awareness in coverage. Capable of dropping deep quickly off the snap, also coming off a seam route to make tackles on underneath route. Stays with tight end and larger receivers in his zone, fights for the ball if its thrown in his area. Finds the first down marker and will bait quarterbacks into making throws to that receiver. Closes on receivers on front of him, does whatever it takes to bring them down immediately after the catch. Lacks elite quickness and change of direction ability to handle NFL slot receivers after initial contact. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/p...eenan-robinson Last edited by C Mart; 01-26-2012 at 10:09 AM. |

If we can come away with Upshaw in the first and then even if we have to pay up for Iloka Im ok with it.
Iloka is a lefit 6'4 which is very rare these days and at least gives him a shot against the taller TEs in the league. We can find a RT later in the 3rd like Abcock or even after that with Datko from FSU. |

Big fan of Bradham. The general buzz is that the South team is just loaded with elite level athletes at LB. This is exactly what our defense needs...

Yeah I agree we should def come away with a pass rushing OLB in either the 1st or 2nd. Cordy Glenn has really impressed me. Maybe trade down in the 1st for him and then take curry or another OLB in the 2nd. Even though I love ingram for our 16th pick. That saying we should def come away with a quality player that will fit one of our needs at the 16th pick.
