Mark Barron at 16... If we passed up Trent Richardson, DeCastro, Floyd, hell even Brockers, for Barron I might vomit... |

I'm starting to come around to the idea of possibly drafting an o-lineman in the 1st round but you guys better guarantee these dudes you are pumping are day 1 starters and year 3 or 4 pro bowlers or I'll come looking for you.

This is terrible.
All of these players would be a better pick. Richardson Brockers Kendall Wright Floyd DeCastro But as someone else mentioned, Don Banks is not one of the better mock draft guys out there. |

No way richardson makes out the top 10. Yea don banks is pretty bad, the only mock draft I value is Rick Goselin's one right before the draft. I don't see zach brown in bank's mock. I think his stock gonna sky rocket after the combine, he's gonna run a sub 4.4 at the combine.

This is something i have been trying to figure out.
Are you all thinking as if Decastro was drafted he would move to RT? Because i think Slauson is not a bad LG. |

If we take DeCastro, it's to replace either Slauson or Moore. Slauson is serviceable, but just like a guy like Mike Devito, you'll always be looking to upgrade that spot if given the chance. Moore is still solid but he's definitely on the downside of his career and we could save up to $4 million by cutting him. Bottom line, I wouldn't pass up an elite OL prospect like DeCastro just because we have two serviceable starters in Slauson and Moore. Contrary to the popular belief, we could stand to upgrade more than just the RT spot on the OL. Especially since the OL and running game are going to be the foundation of Sparano's offense. |

No, you leave DeCastro on the inside -- sounds like the guy can pull with the best of them in thr NFL. Glenn, on the other hand, could supposedly move to RT but it still sounds like he looked better this week at guard. Anyway, Slauson turned out to be a nice player for a sixth round pick, but his upside is pretty low. He didn't have as many mistakes this year, but he wasn't dominant either. Given his ability to play both guard and center, he'd add great depth to the Jets' bench, though.
