Jets fans will eat humble pie, dress in all black
and give the giants and their fans their due, shut their mouths and nod their heads when the giants fans start bragging.(remember, we dished it out pretty good for 2 seasons when we went to the afc championship games and the giants and their fans were playing golf) They will reflect on a season lost, beginning,maybe with the trashing the giants put on the jets, yes not at the podium or in the paper, but on the field where it counts. Pay attention Rex. Tom the Choir Boy was right. It was obvious the giants used that win as a turning point in their season, because after that win they took the rest of the season to the house. Rex will learn that yes, somebody else can beat the Pats besides the jets(2009 and 2010), and that team is our big brother until we prove it on the field otherwise. Hopefully he will take notice what a real pass rush looks like, how to put Tommy boy on his butt and how a hard hitting defense has the Pats offense looking over their shoulder waiting to get hammered. Maybe Rex will even take notice what a good receiver running route looks like, and what bonding a quarterback and his receivers need to succeed. And how important it is to throw the ball down the field more that 20 yards twice in a season, and what a real running game looks like. Yup. Time for all of us to shut up, take our medicine, and turn off sports radio for at least a week, maybe 6 months.
