So has any of you NJ residents switched energy suppliers? Worth it? Scam? LOLGFY?

Seems like every damn week Im getting something in the mail from Constellation Energy or Gateway Energy Services, telling me that I should switch my energy supplier.

And they make it seem soooooo easy. But why? And how the hell does this work exactly?

I'm all for saving money and what not, I could use that extra money for snow tires, or perhaps for an MRI on my knees....but I'll bet there is something in the small print that says after 6 months, you're only allowed to use electricity during daylight hours.

HAs anyone actually switched?

No, ive been tempted but im loyal to PSE&G who always is there when you need them. I fear if you switch and you have a problem you will be put on the backburner and regular full-fledged customers put in front of you.

I have a friend that switched providers. He said it's not really that much of a difference price wise. I'll stick with PSE&G for the time being.

Im semi-retired not rich by any means I dont own a PSL only 4 measly upper deck seats, made a few decent investments along with saving for a rainy day.

Ive been limited to activities due to a few recent surgeries.

Sorry im not all you want me to be.
