No, he's no longer viable in the NFL...not even at 50 cents a play.

Say what you want about him, but dudes a winner. Now he has his own team finally and can control how much he gets the ball. He'll rule that league.

I didn't like it. I was hoping I was wrong, but what ended up happening was much worse. I didn't like the Plaxico signing much either.

Here's the difference in the 3 "trouble-makers" as they are often talked about as (IMO, anyway):

Owens: Always played hard. Always about Owens, though. Disruptive to the locker room.

Moss: Played when he wanted to, took a lot of plays off. Most talented of all 3. Kept to himself for the most part (in relation to the other 2).

OchoCinco: Not as talented as the other two, but played hard. His distractions were more playful than disruptive, IMO.

Which of the 3 today can still play? How much do they have left?

as a slot receiver and a possesion receiver with an incredible amount of receptions over his career it was a good depth add...at least at the time it seemed so. honestly whoever says they didn't like the move in retrospect is probably lying because he was never going to have a huge role in the offense to begin with.

not at all parallel to TO.

and him being in shape has nothing to do him being used and abused.

and if he was even half of what he once was he would be in the NFL not the indoor who gives a **** league.

is he a winner? how many rings?

he was a great player in his heyday but winner = great player at one time, are not the same thing.

Trent Dilfer is a winner.

Dan Marino is not.

I know I have no career in football but would love to end it with a ring.

Does that make me a viable #4 WR?

What is it with you guys who think you can turn back the clock whenever you feel like, with anyone you feel like?

Good point

Dumpint Edwards for Plax has got to be the most bone-headed move I've seen this front office make.

You're the same guy who supported Mike Tyson after he got out of jail, aren't you?

I'd give 1000 to 1 odds that when Mike Tyson got out of jail you were telling everyone he would be the champ again.
