Okay, I'll admit it . . . when I was in high school, we got a male black poodle puppy. My mother named him Pepé! I think she was thinking of Pepé Le Pew but got the wrong animal. :O

We got the pup from my best friend down the street. Pepé's parents were GiGi and JoJo, and he had a sister from another litter called CoCo (with brown fur, of course).

Please, please, name your puppy something normal. :D

Before I was born my parents got a mini black poodle named Christopher. He was a nice dog.

Then they got a standard poodle named Caesar. He wasn't mean, but he was big (even for his breed's average size) and was a bit of a blockhead, which made him difficult.

We had a poodle, named Pierre, when I was a kid. Our priest used to call him piss-wind. He'd say "How about a few spins in the dryer Piss-wind."

You have obviously never owned a poodle, they will rip some ones f'ing arm off for you, and are smart, athletic, don't shed, clean, healthy and were originally retrievers.
