Helps for the line of work I am in.;)

Do you like the Spartacus type of workout? Does it lend itself to being done only a couple of days a week as a cardio substitute?
Spartacus is awesome, combo of weights and cardio, BUT if done properly you will lose weight. I did. It doesn't hit "The Body" the way a old school routine did thats why I do it only 2x (they say 3). I still want to "pump Iron" the old fashion way.

Sprints with weight lifting in between. I've lost 3-4 pounds, but I've put on a lot of muscle weight. I feel a lot better than when this thread was started. Yesterday was olympic power cleans. 10 sets of 10 reps. Not bad for an old chump.

Awesome! Really glad to hear you're sticking with the program.

I've dropped 5 pounds myself, whilst gaining muscle mass. I think I may try sprinting hills next.

LOL. Thanks, man. I'm part of Rex's off season conditioning program.

I do hills as well, but throw in kettlebells before each sprint.

When I spar, I never get tired. I attribute that to the bells/sprints workouts.

Keep up the good hard work!
